When I started the drawings for this exhibition, I began the project as I usually do, which is to forget that anyone else will ever see it. It's the only way I can remain honest to my imagination. When people eventually see the illustrations, I have a twitter/facebook page to represent myself, but on Friday night it was just me, standing in front of my work. I was scared.
The support I received on the night was incredible. A huge thank you to everyone who came (and listened to the awkward speech), thanks to Clare for inviting me to exhibit and to Tim for introducing my work and speaking about The Mabinogion.
The show runs until January 2014, and I will be drawing and painting in the exhibition space every Tuesday from 10am-2pm. If you'd like to know more about the body of work, come and say hello
