Folio Society/House of Illustration Competition Entry 2015

 

Here are my four entries to this years competition. I've loved working with these short stories, I hope I've managed to capture some of the atmosphere I felt reading them. Folio Society have such a beautiful way of reimagining classic literature through their book covers and I've looked to their artists for inspiration so often.

Like a little mole, I'm blinking at the mornings wondering if it's safe to come out. But it is! Already really excited for all my hard work in late 2014 to be put to good use. I've been lucky enough to work on a really exciting commission which will unfold this year, alongside two other on-going collaborations which have both made me feel very lucky. Some very talented people in this little corner of Wales. Here is a self directed illustration I created yesterday to help ease myself into the new year. Hwyl : ) ....for now
