My best buddy of 16 years, Steph Davies is embarking on a huge research project which will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the welsh colonies in Patagonia. She jets off to South America in February, I hope to follow her there later in 2014 to illustrate the adventure. Here is my illustration for "Project Hiraeth" (The word Hiraeth has no direct translation to English. It can only be said that the word helps describe a feeling of longing, nostalgia, of a yearning for home or for the lost Wales of the past.)
